Dear Colleagues,



We are pleased to announce the 7th edition of BASIQ 2021 International Conference on “New Trends in Sustainable Business and Consumption”, which will be hosted by the University of Foggia – Department of Economics, Italy between 3rd and 5th of June 2021.



Given the persistence of health risks and uncertainties regarding international travel conditions, BASIQ 2021 will be - once again - held online in virtual conference format.



This year’s edition is jointly organized by the following institutional partners: BASIQ Association; the University of Foggia – Department of Economics; the Faculty of Business and Tourism and the Agrifood and Environmental Economics Faculty of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies; Amfiteatru Economic Journal.



BASIQ International Conference aims at exploring the impact of the most recent transformations in business and consumer behavior on the economy and society. Within the scope of the conference, organizers invite contributions on the following main topics:

● technological and social innovation for sustainable business

● energy transitioning to sustainability

● travel and tourism resilience and sustainability challenges

● innovation for sustainable agri-food chains

● new and sustainable agribusiness management models

● responsible consumption and production

● constructing modern knowledge: competency-based education and new ways of capacity building



Interdisciplinary and cross section contributions are also welcomed.



Important deadlines:

31 March 2021 - Full paper submission

30 April 2021 - Notification of paper acceptance to authors

9 May 2021 - Conference fee payment



The conference proceedings volume (with ISSN) will be submitted for indexation to Clarivate Analytics under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal.



Proceedings from previous editions (BASIQ 2015-2019) are indexed by The Conference Proceedings Citation Index, a Web of Science™ Core Collection database. BASIQ 2020 Proceedings is submitted and under review to be indexed by Clarivate Analytics.
