SICHERHEIT is the biennial conference of the technical committee "Security – protection and reliability" of the German Informatics Society, held since 2003, and preceded by the Verlässliche Informationssysteme conference series dating back to 1991.

- Submissions to the doctoral forum on 24 April 2018 are accepted in English or German and must be presented in English or German.
- Submissions to the scientific track of SICHERHEIT (25-27 April 2018) are accepted in English or German and must be presented in German.
- Submissions to the practitioners track of SICHERHEIT (25-27 April 2018) are accepted in English or German and must be presented in German.
