The West University of Timisoara (WUT) as the beneficiary of the project “Development and innovative implementation of MOOCs in Higher Education” (NOVAMOOC) funded by the CNCS-UEFISDI, invites you to attend the International Conference on “New Trends and Perspectives in Open Education“.

The conference will take place on 8-9 September 2017 at the West University of Timisoara, in the heart of the city.

This international conference aims to bring together higher education professionals from around the world to debate issues relating to the main research area of the project, namely MOOCs and Open Education, by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, research outcomes and technical achievements.

The conference is also an excellent opportunity for international networking and for sharing results achieved in innovative projects and initiatives.

Conference attendance is FREE for all presenters and non-presenting attendees but a previous registration is requested. Given the limited number of available seats, the people interested in participating have to fill out this Registration form.

Call for Abstracts
We are now calling for abstracts for your research-related papers, presentations of case studies, work-in-progress or/and results of other projects.

Authors who have submitted abstracts are invited for a 15-minute presentation. Details of how to submit an abstract can be found in the Template section. The closing date for submission of proposals is 15 August 2017.

The abstracts submitted will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee and the acceptance will be notified in 5 working days.

All accepted abstracts will be included in the book of abstracts published by WUT Publishing House with ISBN.
