========================================================================

The IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC), sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, is a major annual international conference. Taking advantage of its co-location with the International CES (the world's largest trade show on consumer technology), CCNC is organized with the objective of bringing together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of consumer communications and networking technologies. CCNC 2018 will feature high quality keynotes, plenary talks, technical papers, workshops, work-in-progress, industry panels, tutorials, and demonstrations.

CCNC 2018 TPC Co-Chairs:
Ben Lee, Oregon State University, USA
Joonhyuk Kang, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea

CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
=============================

We invite members of the research, development, and practitioner communities to submit workshop proposals. Workshops provide a forum for people to discuss areas of special interest pertinent to consumer communications and networking with like-minded researchers and practitioners. Workshops aim at examining an area in a less formal, more open environment for the free exchange of views, and possibly in a more focused way than in the main track of the conference itself. Workshop proposals are welcomed in all areas of consumer communications and networking. CCNC workshops will be organized on the first and last day of the conference (January 12 and 15).

Workshop proposal submission details are available from the following link:
http://ccnc2018.ieee-ccnc.org/authors/call-workshop-proposals

Important Dates:
Workshop Proposals Due: May 1, 2017
Workshop proposals acceptance notification: June 5, 2017

Workshops Chairs:
Qusay Mahmoud, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada
Omar Badreddin, University of Texas El Paso, USA

====================
CALL FOR TUTORIALS
====================

The CCNC 2018 organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials, which are half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) in length and will take place on the first and last day of the conference (January 12 and 15). We seek proposals across a wide range of topics and levels — ranging from fundamentals to the latest advances in hot topic areas. Topics of interest include all areas of consumer communications and networking.

Tutorial proposal submission details are available from the following link:

Important Dates:
Tutorial Proposals Due: July 31, 2017
Acceptance Notification: August 20, 2017
Final Camera Ready Slides: December 20, 2017

Tutorial Chair:
Claudio Casetti, Politecnico di Torino, Italy

=========================
CALL FOR DEMONSTRATIONS
=========================

We invite researchers and developers from academic, industrial, and government laboratories to present their novel ideas and demonstrations of original research prototypes. CCNC especially welcomes demonstrations of emerging and innovative technologies that have potential commercial application from nascent and incubating companies. In addition, authors that have a demonstration component in their work and are planning to submit their papers to the main technical tracks are highly encouraged to also submit proposals to the demonstration session.

Demonstration proposal submission details are available from the following link:
http://ccnc2018.ieee-ccnc.org/authors/call-demonstrations

Important Dates:
Demonstrations proposals Due: October 17, 2017
