The IEEE International Conference on RFID Technology and Applications (RFID‐TA 2011) will be held on September 15‐16, 2011 at hotel Melia Sitges, located in the heart of the Aiguadolç marina of the cosmopolitan town of Sitges, Spain. Sitges is situated 35 km south of Barcelona, in the Garraf region along the Mediterranean coast surrounded by sea and mountains. Its seafront Passeig Marítim is more than 3 km long, from the Baluard (Bastion), a spectacular natural viewpoint, to the Terramar residential area. The Barcelona Prat International Airport is just 15 km away. RFID‐TA 2011 forms part of the Emerging Wireless Technologies Week, organized by Centre Tecnologic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) and is organized under the auspices of IEEE and the IEEE Technical Committee on RFID (CRFID).
